I saw my friend Normandie Wilson at the Talking Stick one night in June 2010. Before Normandie was Monica & The Explosion, (except that it was just Monica, no Explosion) a Swedish punk act that rocked the house!
I took my Panasonic Lumix GF-1 out for its first outing -- to see a benefit concert for the Midnight Mission featuring Shirock, at the Roxy in Hollywood. I was pretty pleased with the results.
