2026 Property Tax Bills are now available to view and pay. Homeowners in Orleans Parish can search their tax bills online via https://nola.gov/find-tax-bill/. Residents should receive mailed tax bills by the end of January 2026. Taxpayers will have until February 28, 2026, to submit 2026 property tax payments before interest accrues at 1% per month.

NEW ORLEANS — The City of New Orleans Bureau of Treasury today announced its annual tax sale, set for Sept. 17–19. Only taxpayers with delinquent property taxes from 2021, 2022, or 2023 are eligible. Payments should be submitted to the Bureau of Treasury to avoid the tax sale.
