In the original NWN (2002) there was a spell called Harm (Necromancy) that would reduce a target creature to 1d4 hit points with a touch attack. It looked like a giant red pillar of light and sounded like the pixels in the computer screen were dying. I've always wondered what it would feel like to be targeted by level 6 cleric spell Harm, probably pretty good.
