Booking Policies

Please read the following before submitting a booking request.

  • I am a machine tattooer with a bit over four years of experience. I have experience tattooing difficult areas (ribs, head, neck, face, hands, feet, etc).

  • You must be 18 or older to get tattooed, and must bring a valid piece of government-issued photo ID to your appointment.

  • I will not tattoo hands, fingers, or feet without the client understanding the risks. They are very painful areas to get tattooed with little guarantee that they will heal nicely without touchups.

  •   Some of my flash is not repeatable, though I am open to modifying a taken design to make it unique for you, as well as matching pieces of flash on friends/family/etc. Repeatable flash can also be modified to make it more unique if you wish!

  • I reserve the right to refuse a tattoo if I feel I cannot execute it to the extent it deserves or if the client is unfit to be tattooed. I will not tattoo anyone under the influence of recreational drugs or alcohol at the time of their appointment.

  • If you wish to make any last minute drastic changes to your design, please give me at least 48 hours notice before your appointment time. If no notice is given I reserve the right to reschedule the appointment to accommodate for the changes.

Payment

  • My hourly rate is currently $150/hour. My flash is priced at a flat discount rate for a preset size. Changes are welcome (such as changing colours, making it bigger or smaller, or making it black and grey), but the price will switch to my hourly rate instead. My minimum charge for appointments of 45 minutes or less is $120. GST is charged on top of these prices.

  • There is a $15 shop supply fee added on at the end of the appointment (not hourly).

  • My pricing can be flexible and I'm always open to discussing more limited budgets. I'm generally open to discussing light discounts on projects that make good portfolio pieces for me and pieces of flash I'm very interested in doing. Other accommodations and modifications can be made for projects that don't fit in those categories. Mention it to me and we can discuss!

  • I require a deposit of $100 for all appointments, payable via etransfer or cash (you must arrange to come by the shop in person while I am there). Appointments longer than 6 hours require a $200 deposit. Deposits are non-refundable.

  • I require 48 hours of notice for any non-emergency cancellations or rescheduling. If proper notice is not given and it is not an emergency, your existing deposit will be forfeit and a new deposit will be required to re-book. Please note that being ill counts as an emergency, and I ask that you let me know if you are sick so that we can reschedule. Please do not come to your appointment if you are sick.

  • I accept payments in the form of cash, debit, credit, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Afterpay, and Affirm.

  • I offer free touch ups for the year after your initial appointment. The $15 supply fee will still apply for touch up appointments. To book a touch up please e-mail me directly at leonhubertleblanc@gmail.com with the subject line "Touch Up,” or message me through Venue.

Pansy Poke Co. Studio Policy

  • All clients entering the studio space must wear a mask that covers the nose and mouth at all times, no exceptions.

  • A consent form and COVID screening questionnaire must be filled out at the studio prior to your appointment.

  • Guests are permitted during appointments on a case by case basis as space in the studio is limited. Please contact me ahead of time if you would like to bring someone with you to ensure that we can accommodate it. Unexpected guests may be asked to wait in our reception area.

  • Please arrive no more than 5-15 minutes before your appointment time.

  • Accessibility info: the shop is located on the second floor just off Whyte Ave. Currently, the only access to the space in via stairs, but a chair lift is in the works. The bathroom is a single stall genderless washroom, though it is a bit small to maneuver in for those with assistive or mobility devices. Security cameras are in use but they are not monitored and only reviewed in the event of an incident. Our tattooing beds are rated for 1500lbs, and we can provide an upright chair to sit in instead of the bed (though that depends on the location of the tattoo). If you need accessibility accommodations that our space can’t meet, please let me know and I can arrange for an alternate accessible appointment location.
