The Cohort Experience

Campus Commons is a semester-long leadership and dialogue program for Jewish college students across North America, focused on bridge-building and navigating difference.

The Cohort experience includes:

  • Five day retreat

  • Six Virtual Leadership Sandbox Sessions

  • Campus Implementation Project

You will experience…

  • Real-world dialogue through small-group discussions and interactive exercises.

  • Exploration of core Jewish texts and ideas related to pluralism, led by a diverse senior faculty team.

  • Deep friendships and connections in a diverse cohort of up to 60 Jewish students across North America.

  • Mentorship and support as you design your own stipended, campus-based project inspired by the experience.

  • A certificate in Relationship Building Across Difference and micro-badge credentialing through Team Democracy.

  • Access to the robust Bronfman alumni community of 1600+ with opportunities & connections

We’re excited to partner with Team Democracy to offer Campus Commons graduates digital credentials in Dialogue, Listening, Collaboration, and Bridging- recognizing the real skills they’ve cultivated to strengthen democracy through Campus Commons.

These credentials can be shared on LinkedIn, in email signatures, on social media, and beyond- making visible the bridge-building leadership our students bring to their campuses and communities.

Who can apply?

We are looking for Jewish students with diverse leadership experience who seek out opportunities for growth.

Qualifications:

  • Identifies as Jewish

  • Enrolled in a undergraduate degree program during the time of the program

  • Attends college or university in North America
