Happy Friday to you!  Are you joining in with the #100 blocks in 100 days challenge?

Above are my fabrics and since I have taken this photo I have found more text fabrics available in my stash.  So let the fun begin!  Starting tomorrow, I am so happy and thankful  join gnome angel  for hosting this fantabulous sew along.

I have started cutting my fabrics and I am labelling them and putting them in a container  ready for sewing.  I figure there will be a few days in the next 100 days that I will not have a lot of time so starting cutting and having them ready will be of a great help to reach my goal.

I have had this book for 3 years, the first I had all intention of joining in with the quilt along, didn’t happen. the second year I was gathering fabrics, and this year it is do it or you will never do it!  I love this text fabric above with I sew Too!

I have also been exploring different ideas for laying these blocks into a quilt.  I do no want to do a standard setting.  So I am contemplating different options.  I will do a blog post once a week with all of the previous weeks blocks so you can follow my progress.

I have recently been quilting up a storm.  I have been joining Angela Walters with her fmq challenge.  It has been so much fun watching everyones progress.  I have had my machine serviced this week so glad to have it home all ready to keep on stitching. I have to thank my mechanic for looking after her over the last couple of days.

I was very please to be able to quilt a couple of quilts for a couple of other people recently.  One was a brocade and the other is a quilt from Amanda Brandls bush gum blossoms range.  Here are a couple of photos of them.
