Money, Wealth, Luxury….. These topics have always been so exciting, scary, or taboo to talk about depending on your experiences. They may say money is not the most important thing in life, that is true but money is a necessity, we need money to get most of the things in life, it’s like oxygen only difference is without oxygen you die pretty quick but without money, it’s a slow, painful misery burn where you pray to die soon.
“Before you cancel me with your furious and rage-filled comments, read the whole thing; and if you still want to cancel me…go ahead and do it”

– Jordan Belfort
If you are like the majority, you were always somewhat uncomfortable talking about money. Especially during dinner with your family, relatives, and friends, and you were always reminded of sentences like “Money is the root of all Evil, Money cannot buy happiness, Money is for the greedy,” yadayada…yadaa..
Hearing all these from our childhood conditions our brain into thinking that having too much money is bad, talking about money is taboo, and building wealth and multiple income streams is just greedy and outright selfish. And we are not alone, everyone around us tends to have the same beliefs as us, as we as a generation have been socially, emotionally, and psychologically conditioned from our childhood about the dark side of money. Due to this, we are unable to live a comfortable life and the main reason is the lack of money.
Before you say to yourself “This greedy moron loves nothing but money and I’m gonna talk shit about him on social media” hold on…..read the whole thing and then you can talk shit about me.
You don’t need Money
Take a minute or two and look at your life and your surroundings. Now really observe it, feel it, breathe in and take a while to live in the moment. Look at the clothes you are wearing; the shoes, jackets, also your watches, and jewelry; the food you ate; that nice homecooked meal or that gluten-free vegan stuff you had in that fancy place; the place you are staying in, the transport facility you use. And the one thing that is common is all of these require MONEY!
And this is just your personal expenses, then there are Taxes, Insurance, Health care, Education, Investments, those luxury items for your outfit, your house, your vehicle, your vacations, and some money for a rainy day. Now if you have a family multiply all these by the number of people you have to be responsible for. “Man that’s a lot of money..Well of course”

The difference between the rich and the poor is the rich have the time to think about their mental health while the poor don’t
Forget a comfortable and wonderful life, just to have a decent livelihood you need a substantial amount of money. Yet the majority of the population believes that money doesn’t buy happiness and that they are truly happy, while they go on a daily struggle living paycheck to paycheck just to make ends meet.
It is Psychological
You can try to generate more wealth and add more income streams to your life by working hard, growing your network, or by creating multiple businesses but you are not going to amass wealth if you believe money is taboo.
“Now this is not some manifestation bullshit, a bird can never learn to fly if it doesn’t believe it can”
Here’s a real-life example:

Elephants, one of the strongest species which has ever walked this planet are tied up with a chain that can barely hold them in a still position. From the outside, we know that an elephant can just break the chains and be free but you rarely see them do it. That’s because the elephants believe that the chains are stronger than them and they have been conditioned and trained for so long that they lose hope in their own strength and stay chained for the rest of their lives.
Now we are like elephants, even when we have the ability to amass wealth our own limiting beliefs keep holding us back. Some of us suddenly make good money from a new job, promotion, start-up, or by winning the lottery, but soon spend it all and get back to where we started. This is our brain telling us “You got more than what you deserve/ This is too much money/ Money = Taboo” These inner beliefs and fear of being judged limit us from making bank and living a great quality of life.
Finale: Golf on your Private Island?

Don’t get me wrong, just believing you can be rich doesn’t make you rich but it is sure one step closer in the right direction. The goal is not to be a multi-billionaire with Lambos, Gulfstream private jets, and sipping mimosas on luxury yachts. The goal is to attain Financial Freedom where you don’t have to work jobs you hate, live paycheck to paycheck, and most importantly wake up with no excitement for the day. Financial Freedom does not give you happiness but it buys you the time and resources to chase happiness without worrying about basic necessities.
It is easy to blame society, or the rich folks, or our families for shaping us with these limiting beliefs and controversy regarding money but from an outer perspective you tend to realize that even they have been conditioned by their version of Society and Media.
And this can either go on forever or we as a whole generation of trial and error can try to change the tide to a much more convalescent direction.
