What We Eat

Curious about what eating whole food, plant-based looks like In Real Life?


Here is a peek inside our kitchen to see the actual meals that we eat.

Before we started we ate the standard American diet with meat 2-3 times a day, lots of cheese, lots of oils & butter, lots of simple carbs.




WFPB eating is easy, delicious, never boring, never tasteless, and our experience has been that it cost a little less than what we were spending before!


We did a lot of research and trial and error to figure out what we could and should eat. In the beginning, it was a bit of work to figure out what we liked but now it is as easy as it was eating the way we ate before.

All of these delicious meals are made without animal products, dairy, processed food, oils, sugar, and use minimal salt. And we never miss any of it!

We started in January of 2024 with simple WFPB meals and have been building our pantry and our competencies since then.


Once we got over the hump of figuring out what to make and how to make it, we just learned to have fun and make it up as we go.

We don't waste time tracking protein, fiber, iron, or calories. We just delight in knowing that we are getting the nutrients we need by consuming a diversity of whole, plant-based foods, and the results have been amazing.

We both have normalized our weight and improved our biomarkers. We have better blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and triglycerides. We enjoy increased energy, and we feel younger.



Many of these dishes made two meals or became a part of another meal,

reducing the level of effort.
