So excited to share about our weekend trip to Leavenworth! I secretly planned & surprised Braden for his birthday a getaway stay at the Post Hotel in Leavenworth! The Post Hotel is an adults only hotel right in downtown Leavenworth along the river with beautiful mountain views. It is such a beautiful place to stay & has the most relaxing spa designed with wellness concepts from the Alps!
We arrived into a SNOW covered Leavenworth on Friday afternoon and checked into our terrace room with a beautiful view of the mountains at the Post Hotel. Our room was such a dream! 🙌🏼With its own fireplace, fluffy white bedding & marble tub! Saturday we had relaxing couples Swedish massages and enjoyed the salt water pools, steam room & saunas! My favorites were the 160 degree cedar sauna & the marble tile steam room complete with marble loungers! This place is so relaxing & feels so luxurious! Even the smell was amazing! They also have complementary breakfast, light lunch food & evening desserts.
There are so many hole in the wall European inspired restaurants, wineries, and cute little boutique shops in town. (Starbucks too!!) My favorite place to eat was the Rhein Haus for beers, a braut for Braden & a giant pretzel for me! (with beer cheese sauce!) 🥨🤤 We sat outside overlooking the main street & town square, it was a little chilly but there were outdoor heaters too. SO pretty with a view of all the buildings lit up with lights and the snow covered mountains! For dinner, one night we went to Mozart’s for steak & the most delicious cheese fondue! The Post Hotel doesn’t serve any alcohol due to being a place for wellness, so we picked up some delicious wine from Goose Ridge Winery to enjoy in our room over the weekend! 🥂
Leavenworth is so beautiful during wintertime with all the lights & snow! I want to go back & take Blakely after Christmas to play in the snow! And If you ever have the chance to go without kiddos, stay at The Post Hotel! You won’t regret it! I will recommend this place over and over again!
