Hi, I’m Rachel L’Abri Tipton, and I started writing The Tech Generalist in 2023, a year after landing my first job as a Full Stack Developer. I was looking for a way to document my coding journey.

As a career-pivot programmer who started her career transition into the tech industry at an age when 50% of females in the industry leave, my experience offers a unique perspective.

With time, I’d like this project to become a collection of articles that show potential employers and collaborators what I’m building and how I think. I want to encourage others to build interesting projects and, yes, to think.
