the country. Our vision is to make a supportive community with ideas, and resources, collaborating with other organizations, promoting independent cinema, supporting emerging filmmakers, advocating for policy changes, and creating a platform for distribution,
the indie film society can help nurture the growth of independent cinema in India.
This time we came with Taglab Script Market with many fold additional features to help Indie filmmakers. Taglab Script market is uniquely designed with many folds like, Artist plus, Idea Plus, Mentorship plus, Ott plus, Studio plus & it’s divided into 2 main parts
the powerhouse interaction session & the script market. Both gained a buzz in the industry.
In India who are looking to develop their skills, build relationships, and increase their chances of success in the competitive film industry we offered them a platform to grow. Nasiruddin Shah, Vidya Balan, Vivek Oberoi, Vipin Sharma, Kumud Mishra, Deepak Dobriyal, Jameel Khan, Vinit Singh,Sharib Hashmi, Ravi Dubey, Pramod Pathak, and Vikram Kochhar supported the vision for the indie filmmakers in Artist plus section & Anurag Kashyap, Hansal Mehta, Sriram Raghavan, Nitin Kakkad, Ajay Bahl, Vasan Bala, Vishal Furia, Pratik Joshi, Sukant Panigrahy, Sanjay Routray (Matchbox Pictures), Gautam Talwar(Mx Player), Mahesh Iyer (Yoodlee Films) joined the Powerhouse Interaction session.
Many otts & studios like Hungama Play, Zee5, Erosnow, Mx Player, Dreamiyata, and Cloud 9 Pictures joined hands to support this initiative.
Overall it created a platform where indie filmmakers dream, learn & practice with the best industry professionals & nurture them with their
guidance.

Why it is important when asked Badrinath Sabat the founder of Taglab, he stated that, Indie films are important because they offer a more diverse, authentic, and creative perspective on the world around us and provide a platform for emerging talent and alternative storytelling. He added that he does not want a mainstream-centric system in the industry. A fair competitive market he always wants.
