About Finger Food

Welcome to your weekly dose of Finger Food - your home for all things pleasure.

Finger Food is more than just a newsletter and a podcast; it's a sanctuary for reflection and expression. Each week, I bring you sensual recipes, somatic rituals, intimate interviews and personal stories designed to deepen your relationship with yourself, your senses and those around you.

As a certified somatic sex and relationship coach and culinary artist, I’ve long sought a space to share my insights freely—unfiltered, untamed and without fear of trolling or censorship. Substack feels like that space. A safe haven to finally share what’s been bubbling below the surface for a while.

I’m so excited to share it all with you right here. Let’s go sweeties.

About me

I am a certified somatic coach and a culinary artist.

As a culinary artist, I wear multiple hats, including cookbook author, food stylist, chef and recipe developer.

As a somatic coach, I guide individuals to connect with their inner wisdom, release emotional blocks and step into their authenticity. Through body-based practices—including talk therapy, breath-work, meditation, sound and movement, I help humans access the innate wisdom within.

I became interested in somatic coaching practices, specifically in the field of sex and relationships, when I was 27. At the time, I was in the sixth year of running my East London bakery business, Meringue Girls and the fifth year of my marriage.

The bakery attracted private orders from clients like Dior and Chanel and we opened our very own bricks and mortar space in East London. I also co-authored and styled two well-received cookbooks with photography by David Loftus (renowned for his work with Jamie Oliver) and travelled the world with my team making sweet treats for high-end clients.

The success of Meringue Girls was exhilarating, but the work-hard, play-hard lifestyle took a toll on my well-being and marriage. I faced severe anxiety, debilitating exhaustion, painful hormonal imbalances and the unraveling of my personal life.

At 26, having never experienced the mythical orgasm and with my mental, physical, and emotional health at a breaking point, I sought help from therapists and coaches. I eventually sold my shares in the business and dedicated myself to healing.

I traveled the world, ended my marriage and immersed myself in practices like yoga, mindfulness meditation, somatics and holistic sexuality. This transformative journey healed my hormonal health, gave me newfound confidence and allowed me to experience more pleasure than I ever thought possible.

For the past 12 years, I’ve worked as a freelance food stylist and recipe writer for top publications and brands, including Ralph Lauren, Vogue Italia, Wallpaper magazine and The Guardian, to name a few. In addition, I’ve spent the last seven years studying various well-being modalities and the last two years becoming a VITA-certified somatic coach.

Today, I divide my time between creative culinary projects and one-on-one somatic coaching for women, blending my expertise in food with my deep passion for connection and holding space. My mission is simple and clear: to empower others to thrive—in the kitchen, the bedroom, the streets and beyond.
