splitkb.com ships internationally from the Netherlands, Europe.
We ship to most countries. You can check the available shipping options and rates to your country during checkout.
Value added taxes only apply to orders within Europe; your local tax rate will apply which may differ from the rate displayed on the product page. Value added taxes also apply to orders within the UK up to 135GBP.
Your shipment may incur customs charges when shipping outside of Europe. You may have to pay for these charges separately.
When you an order with a value of €100 excluding VAT or larger, you'll receive a discount on the shipping cost when shipping with DHL Express or FedEx. The discount is 2% of your order value, and it's already worked into the shipping price you see during checkout.
The discount only applies to DHL Express and FedEx Priority. It does not apply to other methods, such as DHL Express Economy, DHL GlobalMail, DPD and PostNL.
In order to compensate for shipping internationally, we partner with Shopify Planet. For every order we receive, a formula is used to calculate the estimated shipping emissions. Based on those estimates, a portion of our revenue goes to carbon removal companies that have been vetted by scientists from Carbon Direct. Those companies use that money to remove however much carbon our shipments created. Any extra funds go toward the further development of carbon removal technologies.
We generally do ship everywhere, but there are some countries we don't ship to.
Not all shipping methods are available to all countries, and not all shipping methods are available in all regions in certain countries. If you live in an area which a carrier deems to be "remote", like an island or sparsely populated area, you might not have access to all shipping methods.
No exceptions can be made. If you'd like your order to ship to one of the countries below, please consider using a shipping forwarding service instead.

These restrictions are imposed by third parties, and we do not have control on whether we're allowed to export to certain countries. As such, we can't ship items to the following countries:

You can find your shipping rates for your items at the bottom of the shopping cart page. You'll only have to fill in your country and ZIP code to see the shipping costs for your order.
When you'll get your package depends mainly on chosen the shipping method. These estimates are valid from the moment your package has been picked up by the courier, which may be later than the time at which you receive your shipping notification. Shipping may take longer if your package gets held by your local customs authority.
DHL Express will offer you detailed tracking, and you'll be able to change your delivery preferences on demand through the DHL tracking link.

Due to exceptions, shipments can take longer. The shipment times are estimates, not guarantees. These exceptions are usually related to customs clearance, but technical issues at the shipping carrier, availability of transport or staff and other situations can occur too. We do our best to resolve these situations before they happen, and you're always welcome to ask about your package at support@splitkb.com.
When your shipment takes longer, we usually cannot issue refunds - we rely on our shipping carrier, who in turn also does not refund us. For Express methods, we usually can escalate issues and attempt to get packages moving as quickly as possible again if they do happen to get stuck.
I try to ship in stock items within three work days. Acrylic cases, when not in stock, can be preordered and are then cut for you, generally within a week.
Your items will be shipped once all items in your order are in stock.
If you would like preorder items to ship independently from in-stock items, please consider placing a seperate order for the preorder item.
When your order has shipped, you will always receive a status notification by email. If you have tracked shipping, this email will contain the tracking code.
If you haven't received a status notification yet but do think you should've gotten one, please mail support@splitkb.com or use the chat button in the bottom right of this page and I'll review the status of your order.
