Aguto Rising Aguto Rising is a musical project with its intent on guiding willing listeners on journeys from wherever they may be, to arrival at a point more calm than before. With the use of guitars, loops, keyboards, singing bowls and vocals the South African-born & Berklee-graduate Baz King, discovers each sonic path as it presents itself. The ambient textures are Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois-esque, and the fully improvised ethos is inspired by both Keith Jarrett and Bobby McFerrin’s solo shows. Like the adage of the man never stepping into the same river twice, every song/medition/prayer is as new as the ever-present moment.
