This is one of my first remixes I ever did for a remix contest on Acid Planet back in 2013 I think. Did it in Acid Dj software. I had no plugins or effects. All I have left of this song is a very low quality mp3. I didn't know at the time I should bounce to a .wav file. Not even sure if I was able to on the version I had. I was hoping to re-export the song at a higher quality but I somehow lost the Acid Dj CD. Not sure if it would even work on my computer in 2025 even if I had it. Anyway, the file is only 2Mb which is really small for a 4 minute song. The sound quality is pretty bad but I still think it has some redeeming quality to it. This is a lo-fi downtempo trip hop track with some glitchy bluesy slide guitar. It kind of has a Thievery Corporation Death in Vegas type of vibe. This is the FIRST song I ever produced on a DAW back in 2005! I used Acid DJ 2.0. I had no effects or plugins. It's a downtempo trip hop REALLY lofi track made with the samples that came with the software. It kind of has a Thievery Corporation type of vibe who I was really into back then (still love them). I didn't know at the time I should have bounced out a high quality .wav so all I have now is a low bit rate mp3 at 2.5Mb which is really low quality. Despite the low quality, it still sounds pretty cool if you focus on the arrangement. I tried to export a higher quality file but when I opened the project in the latest version of Acid, some crucial samples went missing.
