At Saks Closet Foundation, we are dedicated to improving the lives of elderly individuals who face economic challenges by providing essential non-perishable items. Our mission is to offer consistent support and resources that promote dignity, health, and well-being among our senior community. By uniting local partners and volunteers, we strive to ensure that every elder has access to the necessities that foster a secure and comfortable life, reinforcing our commitment to compassion and care for those who have nurtured generations.

Our Sister Company
Since our establishment in 2012, Saks Closet Foundation has worked hand in hand with Donate A Miracle, our sister partner, to create substantial change within our community. As our largest financial supporter, Donate A Miracle contributes a portion of all proceeds directly to our mission, enabling us to reach and assist more elderly individuals in need.
Both organizations are under the passionate leadership of Lyz Farrar and are housed in the iconic building at the corner of Porter and Alameda St. in Norman, Ok. While Donate A Miracle operates as a for-profit entity, Saks Closet Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, solely funded by community contributions.
Together, we continue to strengthen our mission and enhance the lives of the elderly who count on us.
Thrift Tea Radio
At the end of February 2024, Lyz Farrar met Sarah Hamilton and agreed to work together to help market Donate A Miracle to more people and reach further outside of Norman. As their bond grew and both being small business owners, they decided to create a podcast all about life as a small business.
Thrift Tea Radio is a podcast created in May of that dives into the topic of small business, how to manage it and the successes and hardships small businesses face. We also interview fellow small business owners in similar industries to our own and different. Our goal is to bring more awareness to small business across the state of Oklahoma, and even further if we have to.
