Why subscribe?

My name is Robin Campbell. I write about my experiences as a re-reader—something I never expected to be. But here I am.

I’ve been surprised to find that revisiting a text after many years—often decades—can both affirm its enduring value and also reveal its shifting relevance given my own changing circumstances.

It’s an adventure. In an era of disposable content, it also feels like an act of resistance.

If you might welcome receiving brief and—I hope—engaging evidence showing why reading—not skimming—still matters, please subscribe.

And as you read things a subscription sends your way, please share your own thoughts. I’d welcome reading them.

When one writes about re-reading old stuff, the product does not really have an expiration date. So please consider browsing my publication archives for something that may interest you.
