We’re just under two weeks into the new year… and our update list is a mile long! Here’s the latest on our newest little rescues:

Late Sunday night, we rescued sweet Ronnie. She was found in a good Samaritan's garden, unable to keep herself upright. She’s started treatment for EC, and eating fresh cilantro when hand fed.

Earlier, we rescued this beautiful seal-point bunny along with her wee boyfriend from the side of highway 99. She stood out, and the trapping team determined they were likely dumped pets. During intake, we noted she was likely pregnant.

Sure enough, she gave birth to 3 beautiful harlequins shortly after. All are doing well with baby foster Jen.

In even more baby news, we took in a teeny tiny agouti facing euthanasia. They were just five days old, eyes still closed. Now, they’re staying warm with their other baby foster friends, including the white baby puff we shared last week. You can follow along with their first days on our baby foster’s page: shorturl.at/8vLvG

We need donations to provide these bunnies with necessary veterinary care including spays, neuters, and vaccinations. We appreciate all the support we can find for them.

If the donation button doesn’t work, please try paypal.com/ca/fundraiser/charity/3764772, or rabbitats.org/donate .

Incoming! This tiny blue-eyed baby was found in a schoolyard in Richmond, possibly picked up and dropped by a raptor. The little one is at the vet right now, but s/he seems to be a survivor. This isn't our first baby of 2026, we just haven't had time to post. We thank everyone for their end-of-year support after our $17000+ December vet bill, but we haven't had even one donation come into our Paypal Giving Sick Bunny Fund in 2026, and we could use some! If the Meta link doesn't work, try the direct link here: paypal.com/ca/fundraiser/charity/3764772, or rabbitats.org/donate . As always, we thank you and this baby will thank you. <3 ...
