Winter trip planning started a week or so ago
For those looking into a cheap way to get traction on icy city streets (like in Hokkaido: Sapporo, Niseko, Otaru, etc.), recommending Yaktrax 👌🏻
Late post or so but PSA too… these are only USD$25 but gives you peace of mind that you’ll be okay going up/down crazy inclined, icy or black-iced streets. It’s also automatic for packed snow trails.
Not to mention, your boots or sneakers don’t get F’d up. I can say they got the job done without messing up these Reds during our trip earlier this year. They’re also easy to put on (probably just need a stable seat at least).
