The simplest definition of multimedia is using multiple mediums of expression and communication. These range from writing, painting, videography and everything in between. If you’re looking to express yourself in this era, you’ll likely need to make usage of multimedia in some fashion.
What Multimedia Means to Me
In this day and age, companies utilize a variety of specialists who are knowledgable in various forms of multimedia. From brand design to advertising and packaging, this requires those forms of multimedia to work together in order to form a cohesive story about the product and the producer. Understanding multimedia for me means keeping up in an ever-growing and ever-changing market. It means being an expert in my own craft while understanding the basics of others in order to know how my craft will work with them. And, it means leisure : from video games to television to TikTok videos, it’s a way for people to relax and enjoy the creations of others.
