I’ve been editing since around the spring of 2020, when the lockdown happened. I started on CapCut and gradually transitioned to Alight Motion as I gained more experience and wanted more creative control over my edits!

A few ways I get inspired for transitions are from song lyrics and digital designs. Song lyrics can help dictate the mood, pacing, and timing of a transition. Digital designs, such as posters or album covers, also inspire me by providing ideas for color palettes, typography, and visual flow. Looking at how designers layer elements helps me experiment with new transition styles in my own edits.
