💚 MECK Family Shop Policies & Customer Care

Welcome to the MECK Family shop! Every item here is handmade with love, care, and a little bit of mischief — whether it’s Kora the Panda, Caleb the Frog, Maya the Rabbit, or Elsie the Seal, they all come from my little creative corner of the world.

Below you’ll find everything you need to know about how I process, ship, and handle orders — plus how I can help if something goes wrong.

🕓 Processing & Delivery

Each MECK Family creation is made to order and usually ships within 1–2 business days.

• UK Orders: Sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48 as standard, with an optional upgrade to Tracked 24 for faster delivery.
• USA Orders: Prices shown at checkout include all shipping, customs, and import fees, so there should be no extra charges when your order arrives.
• All orders come with tracking, so you can follow your package from my workshop to your door.
• I always do my best to ensure customs paperwork is accurate to help avoid delays, though I can’t control customs processing times.

🎨 Custom & Personalised Orders

Every personalised MECK item is created especially for you. Please double-check:

• Name spellings
• Font choice
• Colour selections

Once production begins, changes can’t be made — but if you spot something quickly, just message me and I’ll see what I can do!

Each piece is handmade, so small variations may occur — that’s part of their charm and what makes every one truly unique.

Can’t quite find what you’re looking for?

Whether it’s a specific colour combination, a different size, or a brand new design idea — just reach out!

I love bringing new ideas to life, and if it’s something I can make, I’ll happily create it just for you.

This applies to both personal and business orders — so if you’re thinking about custom signage, classroom sets, or something special for your shop or event, let’s chat!

📦 Refunds & Returns

Because most of my items are made to order and personalised, I’m unable to accept returns or exchanges unless your item arrives damaged or faulty.

If that happens, please contact me within 14 days of delivery, and I’ll put it right as quickly as possible.

For non-personalised items:

• Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt.
• Items must be returned in their original condition.
• Buyers are responsible for return postage costs.

💔 Damaged or Lost Orders

If your parcel arrives damaged or goes missing:

1. Contact me within 48 hours of delivery (or expected delivery date).
2. Include photos of the packaging and item where possible.
3. I’ll organise a replacement or refund as soon as possible.

All orders are sent tracked and well packaged for your peace of mind.

🌍 Customs & Import Taxes

• USA Orders: All import duties and taxes are included in your checkout price.
• Other international orders: Buyers are responsible for any customs fees that may apply.
• I’ll always complete customs paperwork accurately, but I can’t control potential delays caused by customs processes.
