Training with Michigan Lakeshore Aquatics in Holland, she posted three top-20 finishes and says the experience has validated years of hard work and raised her goals even higher.
   

• Car catches fire, teen hospitalized after Grand Haven Township crash (fox17online.com) — A 16-year-old girl from Jenison was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after rear-ending another car at a red light in Grand Haven Township, sparking a fire in the other vehicle. The Fennville driver and her passenger escaped the flames and were treated at the scene, while Ottawa County deputies continue investigating the Sunday morning crash.
