ā¢ Idaho Senate committee advances bill to expedite safety checks for at-risk infants (newsfromthestates.com) ā A Middleton-based state senator is pushing a child-protection bill that would force Idaho welfare officials to respond much faster when infants are reported at high risk, after a Nampa newbornās death. The proposal, now headed to the full Senate, has drawn both support from child-safety advocates and skepticism from some lawmakers worried about CPS overreach.
