ā¢ 10 Florida facts about smalltooth sawfish (palmbeachpost.com) ā Researchers report encouraging signs that endangered smalltooth sawfish are rebounding in the Indian River Lagoon and St. Lucie River near Stuart, and theyāre asking local boaters and anglers to help by reporting sightings. The study suggests these nearby waters may again be vital nursery habitat, and residents can directly support conservation by sharing details and photos when they spot a sawfish.
