• Hwy 101 Widening Project's Final Stage to Begin This Spring (noozhawk.com) — Major changes are coming for Montecito drivers as the final phase of the Highway 101 widening begins this spring, including a new roundabout by Montecito Country Club and long-term ramp closures. The Los Patos southbound off-ramp, used to reach businesses near the Post in Montecito, will be permanently closed for safety reasons, while nearby ramps at Cabrillo Boulevard are expected to stay shut until 2028.
