Palefroi is Damien Tran and Marion Jdanoff.
Damien Tran and Marion Jdanoff have been working together for nearly fifteen years under the duo name “Palefroi.” Their practice revolves around drawing, printmaking, painting, and animated filmmaking. Together, they have self-published numerous fanzines, most often printed in silkscreen or risograph, thus creating a vast playground for experimentation. They have produced around thirty exhibitions across Europe and Asia. Their films and publications have been presented at numerous international festivals.
Tran and Jdanoff have a self-taught approach to drawing. This is an aspect of their work that they have always emphasized rather than downplayed. As a result, their graphic projects convey a sense of spontaneity and formal experimentation.
