I have been writing, translating, and editing poetry for 30 years. I have been building, developing, and maintaining this website for 26 years.

To date, I’ve written more than 1,000 poems. Although I’ve stopped counting after 2025, I believe that some enu­merative system is es­sen­tial to deriving a praxis that lies somewhere between the now-disputed 10,000-hour rule and the notion of kai­zen.

Currently, this website contains 522 poems, including:

• 16 dirty limericks
• 26 Cappebaum poems
• 20 found poems
• 8 unfinished poems
• 9 audio recordings

From time to time, I retire poems permanently and then put them to rest.

Of the poems published on this website, I have also published 151 pieces (30%) on paper.
