The title may sound familiar as it is also a song from their 2014 album „Thrashing Delirium“. Contrary to expectations, there will be no new songs on „Metalmorphosis„, but six old ones that have been re-recorded.
The band explains the new artwork: „The cover of the EP ‚Metalmorphosis‘ was created by Dan Goldsworthy. He is best known in the Metal scene as an artist, and we just love his artworks. The cover shows Goldsworthy at his best: a pub fight with zombies during the night taking place in a Metal pub. All the Thrash clichés are packed in here! The cover is inspired by the artwork of our album ‚Thrashing Delirium‘, which was released in 2014. The upcoming EP contains 6 old and newly recorded songs from that album, now wrapped in a punchy sound with much more brutality. Goldsworthy received the old cover as a reference from us, and we requested a few changes, like depicting the same chaotic scene but without us as a band being featured. He suggested the colors, and we found them interesting since we hadn’t initially considered them. They are just as brilliant and completely new to us, but they fit the style, the sound, and the music perfectly. It’s a real eye-catcher, and Goldsworthy absolutely nailed it! There are also many Easter eggs hidden in the cover, like the old cover as a poster in the corner. Ever had Coroner beer? All in all, we are very excited about his artwork—no one could have done it better. Dan is an incredibly pleasant and professional artist, and it was a joy to work with him. We are happy he is a part of this project.“
Over the years, many songs have evolved with the five-piece and now sound more brutal, faster, and more mature. SUBLIND have often wondered what these songs would sound like today, and so they have been enthusiastically brought back to life!
This new record pays homage to those days and does not only celebrates tracks that still remain integral to their shows, but also includes songs that deserve more attention. So these re-recorded and rearranged „classics“ appear in a new splendour!

FLASHBACK: Founded in late 2005/early 2006 by four enthusiastic Luxembourgian teenagers, SUBLIND stands strong for honest and furious Thrash Metal in all its intensity and originality. The greatest influences for the unstoppable five-piece around singer Luca are especially Thrash Metal bands from the eighties and nineties.
After many concerts in all these years and a few line-up changes so far, today the band combines fast and thrashy riffs with scratchy growls. Their merciless and sweaty live shows are full of outbreaks of highest energies, in which the quintet intends to include the audience with their clear-cutted choruses and a constant interaction with the fans. A long-standing live experience and tremendous fun with some liters of beer are guaranteed!
SUBLIND has shared all kinds of stages and plays especially in clubs or small Metal festivals in Luxembourg and abroad. So far, they already had the opportunity to share bigger stages with international acts like Exodus, Death Angel, Tankard, Warbringer, Satyricon, Exhorder, Benediction, Gruesome, Crisix, Eyehategod, Desaster, Alestorm, Carach Angren and many local heroes. In Luxembourg, nearly all major events have been played so far, but still the band stays hungry for more!

Singer Lea takes a deeper look at the single „Beautiful Beast“: „‚Beautiful Beast‘ deals with the attraction of a toxic person. It’s a warning about the person – the ‚beast‘. She is described as gentle and beautiful, with an outward appearance of ‚virgin-like purity‘, so to speak, and a silky voice. But appearances are deceptive, because once you have allowed yourself to be dazzled, there is no escape. The beast will use you ruthlessly and make your life hell. Musically, the song is based on a recurring guitar riff, which is introduced to the listener right at the beginning by a string intro. The track represents the wilder, rougher side of DARK LIGHTNING, but despite its straightforwardness, it is not too simple, especially thanks to the varied middle section.“

„The Demons We Create“ is the first major release from DARK LIGHTNING and represents a clear further development of the band’s individual SYMPHONIC METAL sound.
Thematically, the profound work is dedicated to the inner struggle with personal demons and the confrontation with past experiences. The dark and emphatically emotional atmosphere is emphasised by varied vocals, driving guitar riffs and orchestral elements that make this album worth listening to an intense musical journey.
Compared to previous releases, the sincerely self-aware formation has further developed and noticeably refined its specific sound.
While the symphonic influences remain, „The Demons We Create“ features more dark and melodic Metal elements.
The songs have become more aggressive and dynamic overall, with distinctive guitar work and a broad, richly utilised palette of vocal expressions, ranging from clear, emotional passages to powerful growls.

BACKFLASH: Born from the streets of Sao Paulo, Brazil, later relocated to Ireland, and today based in Germany, Location is just a detail at this stage. BREAKDOWN blasted on to the scene in 1998 playing every kind of show imaginable. They quickly found themselves embraced by every facet of the insanely diverse local music scene.

TYSTNADEN explain the thematic background of their new single and the video for „Forsaken“: „We are concerned with the terrible topic of war and all the immense suffering that still emanates from it – all of us who are doing well in our everyday lives should always be aware of this. ‚Forsaken‘ reveals what we’ve become used to: brutality and pain as an alarming norm. Those living in this harsh reality soon fade into oblivion. In the music video, only the eyes of the pure can pierce through the brutality to truly see the hate and suffering. Confronted with an animated cubist painting, Anna begins to witness everything, feeling the pain, fear, and abandonment in her own flesh. The adults and the less pure remain blind to this reality; for a moment, Anna even sees them as part of the brutality. But eventually, everything returns to normal, as that’s how we all continue to move forward, even the purest. And thus, they remain forsaken.“
TYSTNADEN say about their new single: „Despite all the love and intensity we may invest, this time, like others, the end arrives. An unexpected event. Our own ‚black swan‘. It changes everything. This is what happens when everything ends, when we fuck everything up. But think about how drastically the end itself changes based on how we perceive it, accept it. We can thus embrace it. Or we can fight it.“
After years of silence, the Italian band returned to their strengths in 2023 and began to cultivate their roots with a valuable maturity. And so the songs that make up their new album „The Black Swan“ were brought to vibrant life.
TYSTNADEN have entrusted the production of their new album to Fabio D’Amore at Synonym Of Sound Studio, which is located between Silz in Austria and Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
The mix of this fourth album benefits from the collaboration with Francesco Marzona and the title is a tribute to Nassim Nicholas Taleb’s 2007 essay in which he discussed the powerful effects of rare and unpredictable events and the human tendency to find simple explanations for these events after the fact. This theory has since become known as the „Black Swan Theory“.

Visionarily inspired and imaginatively filled with monolithic stories about heaven and hell, the infinite universe, dark mythology and the unfathomable depths of the human psyche, HELL IN THE SKIES create a whole cosmos of timeless qualities.
And so things got off to a powerful start right from the beer-fuelled founding ritual – the midnight hammer blows could be heard as far away as nearby Berlin when the initials H.I.T.S. were carved deep into unholy stone in the swamps of Eberswalde in 2017.

Location: Gelsenkirchen. That’s right, the oft-mentioned city known for its glorious soccer club Schalke 04, also home to the Teutonic Thrash Metal pioneers of Sodom. BREED says about the song: „‚In Your Face‘ is a good reflection of the upcoming album ‚History Of Tomorrow‘, which will be released on December 15, 2023. It’s a tribute to the golden days of the 90s, when Thrash Metal was more than a genre. It was a way of life. Even today … at least for us. Socially critical, never conforming and rejecting the mainstream. Musically, ‚In Your Face‘ taps into the Bay Area genre, but still manages to show our independent style. ‚In Your Face‘ is about our own perception of the present day – egocentric actions, monetarily influenced and always prioritising one’s own advantage. ‚The tongue is my fist!‘: this lyric exactly describes our basic attitude towards these excesses of today. THRASH METAL has been one of the most stable and multifaceted pillars of Metal since the early 1980s. Overseas representatives such as Forbidden, Exodus, Testament, Vio-lence, Exhorder, Death Angel, Toxik and Heathen therefore enjoy a particularly high and collectively respected status among fans – after all, they unwaveringly stand for honest and intelligent music, like to express social criticism in their lyrics and enjoy well-deserved cult status to this day.
The two guitarists Sascha Rink and Maik Ramroth as well as drummer Sascha Meinert’s pronounced passion for typical American Thrash Metal was also a decisive factor in their decision to launch a new joint project at the end of 2018.

The three musicians had previously played together for 25 (!) years in the Osnabrück Death Metal institution Sudden Death. After their dissolution in 2015, three years later they were ready to go back to their roots and let the seeds of American Thrash Metal sprout fruitfully in their new band – BREED were born!
With singer Vincent Alberti and bassist John Scholten, the two missing pieces of the puzzle were quickly put together, and in 2020 they were even able to play their first gigs together. Covid and the subsequent lockdown brought BREED to a standstill for the time being. Sascha Meinert left the formation, but after the difficult months for art and culture, a perfectly complementary new man was recruited for the cauldrons in Oliver Ross at the end of 2022.
For the 2022 Heathen/Toxik tour, BREED were able to secure a support slot in Rheine, Germany and open the show for their revered icons, which further encouraged those involved to take the logical next step.
From mid-2023, the eight songs of the current debut album „History Of Tomorrow“ were ambitiously recorded and with Doc Gator Records, a label partner with many years of experience could be won over, who was completely enthusiastic about the musical result right from the start and even supported BREED in its completion.

The recordings were placed in the capable hands of Luka Matković (Quasarborn), who competently mixed and mastered „History Of Tomorrow“ at his Citadela Studio in Belgrade.
The first single release „In Your Face“ makes the song title a damn heavy program! The playful lead guitar literally ensnares you and the vocals have an almost hypnotizing effect, while the wonderfully hard-scrubbed riffing tightens the noose until there’s no escape!
With BREED, the fatal brutal brood of Sudden Death has now become an independently growing plant, the seeds of which are now being unstoppably spread with „History Of Tomorrow“. BREED are here to stay!
