ModelMaker.
This blog will showcase my 3rd year model making work through posts about my dissertation, external brief, final major and minor.
What is ModelMaking?
Model making is professional practice that creates high quality models for clients across a range of disciplines such as Architecture, Product design and prototyping, heritage, film & television, theatre, advertising or medical companies among many other industries.
Models are in high demand as they are useful tools for education, to inform and communicate in easily understood tactile objects. Much like drawings, physical models easily explain concepts and ideas.
ModelMaking is an exciting and fast paced career that requires problem solving and the ability to work across multiple fields and materials.
On this page I will be showcasing my own work along with the processes I use and the research behind the projects.
