Faculty Request for Group Library Instruction

Are you a faculty member needing a group library instruction session for your class? Fill out the form below to request a session. We can provide instruction virtually or in-person on the Phoenix campus.

Short on valuable class time? We also have recorded tutorials that will help your students get started and answer common questions available here, and live webinars available daily here.

Please note that instruction requests must be received at least two days in advance to ensure we can offer the session.

Please provide several date/time options. We'll do our best to accommodate your first choice.

A 45-60 minute session that will cover the following topics: Navigating the library's website, library databases, effective search strategies, finding peer reviewed and scholarly articles, Research Guides, citing sources, and more.

A 15-20 minute session that will give a brief overview of Library resources and services.

A 20-30 minute introduction to relevant research tools followed by open workshop time for students to search their own topics and ask questions.

We can personalize our instruction to your class - tell us what you need!

What assignment can we use as example?

Research consistently shows that students will retain more information from library instruction when we use relevant context from their course.
