With the suspension of SNAP benefits looming and more than 250,000 Bay Area residents depending on them, this project — a “megalist” — came together from community care and frustration in equal parts.

It’s built on the strength of neighbors stepping up while systems falter, to make new resources visible for anyone who needs them. We refuse to wait for permission to care. Whether you’re looking for support or offering it, you’re proof that we take care of us.

This resource is intended to help you find local pantries, free meals, and mental-health services throughout Tampa Bay. Because caring for ourselves includes our minds and hearts, too.
