From the moment that I learnt that there was such Β a thing as Writing for fun, I fell in love with it.
I realised that I had an intense love for the written word. It was through Poetry that I learnt that my writing was a gift.
I learnt that I wasn’t the only person with these feelings in my chest.
I learnt that I wasn’t alone in this life.
I used to struggle to connect with the people around me because I was shy with an introverted personality and a story to tell in a world that didn’t seem to have the time to listen.
And then I discovered the beauty of Poetry.
I learnt to express myself in ways that touched far more hearts and minds than I ever could, had I used any other tool at my disposal.
And that’s where the name came from.
The Poetry of A Heavy Heart.
This is not just about sadness or pain, but about the fullness of emotions in general. It’s about – wanting to express what goes on in my mind and in my Heart, by way of Poetry.
It’s about connecting with myself and the world around me.
Sometimes, there are feelings inside me that I can’t express with just one word.
This is a platform for that . . .

you’re very right. Poetry is a way of knowing yourself better, a way to voice about exactly anything you want the world to hear, an entire idea is widely expressed in just some words that mean everything to a reader if he’s able to relate himself with it and a way to heal yourself π your’s is amazing and deep π Very inspirational π
Thank you for following my blogs.
Hey Daisy, thank you so much for the follow of my blog. I like the thought of words being an extension of the heart – it resonates well with the way I write too π
