this was really good. the prose was insanely evocative, the visuals and UI were stunning.. my dread only grew as i continued to grow more attached to these broken characters, knowing something was gonna separate them at some point. i feel so bad for them both T_T.

insanely beautiful game, good job to everyone who took part in it. 

it’s not uncommon for RPGMaker games to get picked up by antivirus (though this is my first time hearing this about malwarebytes specifically, a cursory glance shows other people getting their games flagged). I don’t think there’s much I can really do about it but I completely understand if you want to pass on playing as a result. Thank you for letting me know regardless! 

the concept for this game is fun and cute, i liked it 

you've done it again bean!!! the UI is really beautiful, i love the clicks of rotating the meshes around. it reminds me of playing with plastic toys as a child that had similar cranking features. other commenter made me realize that the snake moves too... what a lovely little window.

obviously the 'story' is vague and brief, and you mention having writer's block, but it still left me thinking. the knight's helm and sword being looked at curiously by the fairies(?) make me think of a world that is past its prime and being reclaimed by nature... something ancient and yet receiving new life. there's something sort of mystical and eerie about it that i enjoy.

i really enjoy short games like these. it makes me realize that i conflate length with emotional impact too much. my comment is probably longer than the work itself and yet i know i will think about it for a while.. thank you for sharing ^^

i was really surprised by how involved this was!! I thought maybe i wouldn't enjoy balancing the survival mechanics with fixing the ship but it was pretty fun, and i didn't expect it all to be done in ren'py. so cool. unfortunately i forgot to make a save and my ship exploded like 3 weeks in LOL, so i haven't gotten the true end yet... but RUA is so cute that i might just have to try again sometime. their interactions with the MC are really sweet.

truly fantastic. wow. i love the constant humming and flickering and was immediately immersed in the text boxes floating around my screen. MES felt like such a real person to me despite her own admission that she found the tenants boring at first... her anxiety to do well gradually melting into a passive disdain towards her work when she realizes none of them care anyway... then falling in love with the environment Garcia is despite (or perhaps because of?) all her offputting qualities. it's good. Garcia is wonderful too, the scene where the two of them make love felt transcendental and satisfying in a way that is hard for me to convey besides "I liked it very much", but yeah. also nice nod to Paradoxical Heat at the end, heh.

wow, every time i thought the story reached its breaking point, somehow it just kept going. the audio, art, & writing twisted together in just the right way to make me squirm, and yet it was hard to look away... thank you for joining the robotic romance jam! 

what a sweet little story!!! i wasn't expecting so much bespoke art, especially the drawings at the end during the credits... these two are so cute T_T the implication of emotions being a hardware capability rather than robots just being emotionless by default was really interesting, i enjoyed that & all the other little world details a lot ^^. thank you for joining robotic romance jam!

AHHH this was so FREAKING CUTE.. I love Lita... blunt and analytical robot ladies my beloved. I didn't expect the robots to bond over pirate yuri but i love it, it's awesome. The visual style behind this is crazy cohesive and super pretty too, I'm really impressed with what you were able to accomplish with beginner programming skills. I'd love to see more of these two someday but it's understandable if the project stays in this state, i love it regardless :) thank you for joining the roro jam!!!

this was interesting. I really enjoyed the way things were collaged together, and the autocount sections were especially cool looking (even if they progressed a bit quickly for me to read). I like when stories take a more abstracted approach to depicting events visually so this was neat. "You can't say that Unit 1312" made me laugh. I also appreciate the characters getting more real and emotional near the end.. Sometimes it just goes that way. Thank you for joining the jam!

Admittedly, I got stuck on this game (it was either Idlemare 5 or 6 that I found too difficult to beat) but I like what I did see. The vector graphics are really pleasing to me in an almost nostalgic way-- it reminds me of old flash games but with modern sensibilities/smoothness. It's not an aesthetic I see very much. I also enjoy the gameplay being so simple but allowing for ramps in difficulty and different strategies in what pillars you want to get rid of first, if you can risk missing one to get another... it's neat. incredibly funny and full of banger lines. Green like money. The salmon. Me also being impressed by the quiver line until Rukmini harped on it too much and immediately made it lose its potency. I overall love just how much of a loser Rukmini is, it's adorable. The symbol tags on their dialogue was an interesting way to show who was speaking.

I also love that the robots are able to take hedonism to the extreme even with the funny capitalism schtick. Beautiful world. Thank you for joining the jam!

excellent stuff. I love the way Albert's personality is sprinkled throughout the more mechanical statements until we eventually just see the normal dialogue... it's really good. That's not even to mention the amazing use of color and texture throughout the comic-- I love how the red sections feel more bold and frantic while the green light is much softer (even though the situation didn't improve whatsoever). really beautiful and melancholic. the moments between Sofiya and Sonya are so cute but that sadness kind of seeps through everything in a way I really enjoy... The reveal of Nia's full name got to me especially-- somehow i did not see that coming, lol. I also really like just how many characters we hear about besides the main two, it makes the world feel alive despite all the hardships occurring within it. wonderful work!!

This was a sweet and melancholic story. I'm always a sucker for dynamics where one character is cold and blunt while the other is emotional, and this one certainly delivers. Saria is super cute, and her specifically programmed codependency wasn't something I expected to see but I really liked it as a way to justify the brisk pace of the relationship. On that note, the worldbuilding in the beginning was also cool. it makes me wonder how the different planetary groups came to be, and why they're fighting each other... thank you for joining roro jam!

your entry's page doesn't require any graphics, though i'd strongly recommend having them (it just makes people more likely to look at it). at the least we'd like to see some kind of description of what the project IS on the page, otherwise it kind of just looks like a spam entry. any level of polish for the actual viewable project is fine though, use your best judgement. 

regarding nsfw themes, from the rules section: "Stories can have dark and NSFW themes, but please indicate their existence on your page in some way. That said, the jam runners reserve the right to remove any games with unmarked or offensive content at their own discretion."

TLDR; you can kinda do whatever you want, just be considerate of people potentially downloading your project.

I don't see why not! WIP submissions and such are totally fine, so no worries.

i'm not sure if this is supposed to have a concrete ending cuz i went through all the options and all i got was the red text at the end. Regardless, i really enjoyed this. the premise on its own was enough to intrigue me, but the casual worldbuilding reveals are neat and have some "horrifying but not all that different from our current lives" style implications that i really like. it's kind of everything you'd want from a little text game like this really. also j is funny and seems like a real one

sooo good. i love the little touches of the cpu and temp in the top corner hehe... super cute. the weird fold thingies are something ive never seen before but i like it. peak robotfuckery to me. nice work and thank you for joining roro jam! 

Really awesome. I love stories about robots with differing viewpoints/discussions on their mechanical nature and this hits the nail on the head! the fish imagery was so yummy (hehe) and i loved the use of photography, text, and funky textures on top of some already beautiful art... it's just one of those things that can only be made by someone who really loves the characters they are depicting, and it shines through here. also theres robot girls playing with each other's wires so really it kind of has everything.

I really enjoyed the style of this game, and was pleasantly surprised at how well-realized the runner gameplay was in RPGMaker. Maybe my one critique would be that the obstacles feel really close together for a game where you're moving quickly, but the levels are so short that its not really a big deal. I also loved the scrolling text followed by the immediate pivot into gameplay-- feels really reminiscent of older games to me, but i also think the set dressing we got was just really interesting even if it was brief :3

this was so good. simultaneously felt like reading a horror story on the internet and watching TV shows that you can only see late at night. made me feel weird. loved it.

i really love it. the rhythm with which the words are fed to the reader had me finding myself clicking at a steady pace when usually i just click as fast as i can read.. i feel like the run-on nature of it all, surprisingly, made me savor everything just a bit more... these two are cute. i hope they can learn more about each other and themselves

made me feel a sense of melancholy that i both have and haven't felt before, or perhaps will feel in the future... that is to say, it is good and i enjoyed it. i cant believe they named that girl Nicole Nicolet 

this was so so crazy good. so hot and so heartfelt and so painful. loved every moment. slime girls should get to do a little toxic yuri as a treat i think

i read the content warnings but seeing it in action left me blindsided anyway. wow. claire's pathetic nature and sheer depth of self-pity is so well done. not even to mention the wonderful visual style... i will be thinking about this for a while

so so so so so good... the short length left me wanting more but what's here is great. all of the shots of the world are so evocative and mysterious, and Jules is so cute. loved it

fucking awesome. you do a lot with a little.. i felt so many emotions in such a short amount of time. i also like the minimalist art, it feels appropriately ominous.... the music choices added a lot, especially the more intense pieces coupled with Em on the computer. i was laughing my ass off seeing her immediately go back to her old habits. she's great
