Hi, as they are telling you, yes, this is the first version of the game, before I released it on steam this version  came out before, then I made a new version for steam that is the one called 2.0 here, as you can see that version is not free, it cost the same as the one on steam. You can also see the release date of this version to verify that this version is older than the one on steam.

I designed the steam version with the intention to make every mechanic meaningful, I noticed that a lot of times many people just want the option to deny the entry but not eliminate the neighbor so that's why I added the option, but this also creates a new problem, I didn't want to punish people for deny the entry, that's why you can get a good ending even if you deny the entry, because if we think about a little bit, it is your job to distrust and that's ok.

And for the doppels to reveal themselfs, in the first version of the game it was very easy to trigger and I want to make it not to easy to do, so that's why I did it in that way in the 2.0 version.

I know that the new version lost part of the charm but it was necessary, the first version was more like an experience than a game, all the cut content and changes where made to fit the new mechanics and systems. But you can always play the two versions whenever you like.

In File Explorer go to:

 C:\Users\Name\AppData\Roaming\Godot\app_userdata\That's not my neighbor 

"Name" is your username. 

Delete the .save data.

if it is for Mac or Linux, you need to find the equivalent address.

And about the version, I named the files in this format a.b.c.d where "a" is the main version which is compatible, "b" is for any addons like new features or game modes, "c" is for other extras like new languages or settings and "d" is for bug fixing. So the 1.2.0.2 means, for the first version of the game it has 2 addons, zero extras and 2 solutions for bugs.

So the 1.2.0.1 has more bugs than 1.2.0.2 so yes, you should download the latest one

I tried a lot of things to fix it, but it never got fix, this even don't happen every time, so it was very hard to knew what was causing it, so since it is not a game breaking bug I just let it be. Besides, it is kind of funny haha

It's ok, as long as you built it from scratch and you make it clear that it is a fan game in case you use the same premise, but if your premise is not the same just a similar one then you can just say that my game inspires you.

Hi, I am aware of this, I tried once to put down one of those stolen versions but it didn't work

But since I don't have intention to make a mobile version of the game I decided to let them be, so at leats people who don't have pc can play it

But just to be clear, those games on any platform besides steam or itch are stolen

It sounds like windows is blocking the files, try to force it, run the game as admin or look in "more options" when you try to open the game.

When you click download, at the bottom should be an option that said "I already paid for this", from there you should have access to all the files

If the issue is that the game crashes after the tutorial then the problem is that your pc doesn't have the minimal requirements to run the game properly, in that case you can request a refund by sending an email to support@itch.io use the same email you used to bought the game and explain that the game doesn't work in your pc and you want a refund

idk, it should display the phone call without any problem, does it only happen with the ddd number?

If it is the same itch.io account then just click on download and click on "I already paid for this", from there you can access all the game versions.

Also, you can search on your email the word itch.io, it will show you all the emails with that word in it, so you can find the email easier.

Edit: If it is on Mac you need to bypass apple security, right click on the game, click on open, and on open anyways.

Also, it seems like on newers versions of Mac the game won't work, I recomend people to tey the free version of the game first before buying it.

You can always request a refund, just send an email to itch.io support, using the same emial you used to biught the game. (This only works if you bought the game 90 days at most)

idk why you didn't recieve the game after buying it on steam, but if you own the old version from here you can download the latest version here as well, just go to download and clic on "I already paid for this"

Hi, in Mac you must allow execution by passing Apple security, to do this right-click on the game, then open and finally open anyway. 

Another way to do it is as follows: 

Go to System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> "Open Anyway" -> (Enter your password)
