Irene Te is a critically acclaimed author of contemporary fiction. Her debut novel, This Place is Magic, received the Grand Prize at the 2024 Writer’s Digest Self-Published Book Awards and was the General/Contemporary Fiction winner for the 2024 Indie Author Project annual contest. When she’s not writing, Irene works as a freelance curriculum and instructional designer. She lives in Houston, Texas with her husband and son.
