Half & Half began as an online music zine in 2014. Via in-depth interviews, exclusive portraits, and live photo galleries, we covered many artists early on in their careers like The 1975, The Marias, Wolf Alice, Japanese Breakfast, Mt. Joy, Kate Nash, Frankie Cosmos, Caroline Rose, and The Drums. Now, we’re back, and presenting curated bimonthly newsletters that highlight artists that invigorate us. Playing off of our original name, the Half & Half Substack mixes laidback questions about the artist’s morning coffee (or beverage of choice) and insightful conversation about their forthcoming projects.
