The Annual Day Celebration 2025 of the School of the Good Shepherd and Good Shepherd Kindergarten was joyfully celebrated from 16th to 19th December 2025, showcasing vibrant performances and remarkable talents of the students.

S.G. Aadhav (Class 2) earned a place in the India Book of Records for identifying 195 country flags in just 7 minutes and 48 seconds, showcasing exceptional memory, focus, and talent.

Diyasree T R (Class 9) and Hazel George (Class 7) delivered an outstanding performance at the CBSE Badminton Nationals held in Gohana, Haryana. Hazel George brought further glory by winning a bronze medal in Mixed Doubles with Samyak Jain of IRA World School, Gwalior, under the expert guidance of coaches Mr. Nandu, Mr. Shyju, and Ms. Sruthi S R

Our students showcased exceptional diplomacy and insight at the Kerala Model United Nations 2025, hosted by St. Thomas Central School, competing among fifteen schools. Their outstanding performance earned eight prestigious awards, reflecting their wit, confidence, and global perspective.

SGS Expo 2025, held on 7 and 8 November, was inaugurated by Dr. S. Unnikrishnan Nair, former Director of VSSC, and showcased students’ innovative projects in STEM, art, and humanities. The Hackathon Finals was a key highlight, with three winning teams earning internships and receiving felicitations from Prof. Dipankar Banerjee, Vice Chancellor of IIST.

Cleanliness Club – Menstrual Hygiene Session
The Cleanliness Club organized a Menstrual Hygiene session for Classes 7 and 8 on 18 August 2025. Dr. Shalima Serbin provided essential guidance on health practices and open conversations about menstrual care.

Both the Girls’ and Boys’ teams of The School of the Good Shepherd proudly secured the 1st Runner-Up titles at the South Zone Sahodaya Inter School Kho Kho Championship 2025, held at Amritha Kairali Avidhyabhavan, Nedumangadu, on 4 November 2025.

Emerging Winners at the South Zone Sahodaya Inter School Cricket Championship 2025, held at Belinturf, Akkulam on 30 & 31 October 2025, our team delivered a stellar performance with Ann Susan Alex named Best Bowler and *Vedha Nambiar earning the Best Player award.

The School of The Good Shepherd


The School of The Good Shepherd, affiliated to The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE-Affiliation No. 930703) was started at Nalumukku, Pettah Trivandrum in 2002 as a co-education school attached to the Good Shepherd Kindergarten.
The School at Lakeside Akkulam, Trivandrum is situated on a panoramic hill slope by the side of the Akkulam Lake, a beauty spot with in the city limits and just a kilometer away from the famous children’s Park at Akkulam and from the Kazhakoottam – Kovalam bypass Road.
The foundation stone for The School Of The Good Shepherd was laid at Lakeside, Akkulam on 19 May, 2005. Construction was completed by November and Classes I to VI were shifted to this present locale on 23 Nov 2005.- Read More
