This is a V4L2 C/C++ library! 
It also has a Console Tester app in the VideoInputTester dir
and a GUI (wxWidgets) for testing the application in VideoInputGUITester
You can easily compile the project using Code::Blocks and openning the .cbp 
 
Libraries used are libpng , libjpeg , pthreads and wxWidgets as the IDE

to make all the components just type ./make from the root directory of the project..!
