Expansion of recent docs list?

As has become the rule rather than the exception, this is just a nice to have. I would like to have a much longer list of recent documents. Is this possible? Obviously, because of QRead's .qrd format, it saves everything it opens. I actually like PB's way of doing things, but I liked the fact that, even if I had opened a document a month ago with QR, I could find it again, or at least find its name through the Qread directory. Would it be possible to either make the recent docs list configurable or expand it significantly? Making it unlimited would be lovely, but I don't know what that would do to the ini file or the display.

Every single document you've ever opened in Paperback is stored in the ini file, so this should be no problem. I'll think about the best way to do this, I think that if you have hundreds of books you probably don't want a giant menu, but instead a bookshelf/library that you can look through. Perhaps expand the menu to something like 25 items, or make it configurable, and have the final item allow you to open a dialog listing all documents you've ever opened, let you remove them, etc.

hello, how do we show the files in the list? do we show them with the file path, or just the file name? i'd say we should display the file path also, because for example if their are 2 files on diffrent locations with the same locations, people know what they are looking at

also @trypsynth i think we need a better way to sort files by last open if we want to implement this for example so that as the user in creases the count of items in the recents submenu, it gets populated with new items in the order they were opened?
i am done with the documents list, also the show all option but i thought i should ask this as this mite be importent. of corse it still lists the entries for doc2= if its in the ini

i guess lets leev it. if new items are added after this update they will still get added and if a person decides to reduce the menusize they will just be hidden and if it is increased again, it will add them back.

@trypsynth would a SpinCtrl be fine for setting the number of documents to show in the recents menu?

Hi, yes I think a spin control will be perfect, as will showing the full path. Maybe we could have a multi-column list box that has the filename, the full path, and maybe if it's currently open or not.
