- don't rely on Hash#inspect format - skip profiler test if profiler not loadable (like on Windows)

Hello, we at @RubyElders have detected this gem is one of the crucial in RubyGems.org ecosystem (mostly because it is direct dependency of Google Cloud Ruby SDK) and is currently missing active maintenance.
I have started with simple fixes to keep specs running on modern supported major Rubies. There are still bunch of warnings and migrations needed. I'm happy to continue on this by updating more of the codebase, upgrading underlying libraries, removing unmaintained dependencies and also bringing back CI for minor Rubies in following PRs. Just let me know this is welcomed.
