How to check iMac CPU temperature

I’m unable to check the CPU temperature on macOS, as it doesn’t offer a built-in utility with a graphical interface to monitor the internal temperature of an iMac or any Mac. Terminal can be used, but temperature data is not directly available unless you use third-party command-line tools.

You can install third-party command-line tools like osx-cpu-temp. Which is free and easy to use.

brew install osx-cpu-temp
osx-cpu-temp

Run a loop to show CPU temperature every second

brew install watch
watch -n 1 osx-cpu-temp

Create a logging script
