Get-UserProfileSize fails on remote computer when WinRM is not enabled

This is a terrible issue. I will flesh it out tonight.

Get-CimInstance : WinRM cannot complete the operation. Verify that the specified computer name is valid, that the computer is accessible over the network, and that a firewall exception for the WinRM
service is enabled and allows access from this computer. By default, the WinRM firewall exception for public profiles limits access to remote computers within the same local subnet.

Not sure how you'd propose retrieving this kind of data without using remoting, honestly. I guess you could fallback to old WMI methods, but there are times those are also disabled.

Agreed. Even with using WMI you run the risk of a system being inaccessible. Personally I feel like if you have not taken the time to setup remoting properly, you really need to invest in it. You're missing out on a lot of great functionality without it.

I'm going to submit another issue that would resolve this. If you add a cimsession parameter users will be able to use DCOM via new-cimsessionoption to run CIM command over high ports/WMI.
