Description of the problem: Running the listing

fn main() {
    let mut num = 5;

    let r1 = &num as *const i32;
    let r2 = &mut num as *mut i32;

    unsafe {
        println!("r1 is: {}", *r1);

    }
}

Under MIRI with MIRIFLAGS="-Zmiri-symbolic-alignment-check -Zmiri-check-number-validity -Zmiri-tag-raw-pointers" results in the following:

Suggested fix:
I'm not sure. The following fixes that specific problem:

fn main() {
    let mut num = 5;

    let r2 = &mut num as *mut i32;
    let r1 = unsafe { &*r2 as *const i32 };

    unsafe {
        println!("r1 is: {}", *r1);
        println!("r2 is: {}", *r2);
    }
}

But I'm not sure if it preserves the original meaning
