Cancel a deposit: the button should be hidden from the validation process #840

@pronguen

Description

@pronguen

How it works

When submitting a deposit, the cancel button is yellow and aims at cancelling the deposit "process". In the fact, it deletes the deposit resource that has already been created. It is okay so, because the submitter is not conscious that a resource already exists and will be deleted.

For the validation process, the button has the same effect: it deletes the deposit. This is not okay, because the moderator expects it to cancel the validation, not the deposit. This is the same problem when a submitter edits/completes an existing deposit after a request for changes.

Improvement suggestion

The "Cancel" button is not present

  • if it is a validation process
  • if it is an update by the submitter after a request for changes
