Description
Describe the bug
When using External Storage blocks to connect chests to the network there is serious server lag. In the image below you can see the server memory use graph, when the severe spiking occurs the server lags to an unplayable state. We spent a while narrowing down the cause until we found that disconnecting the chests being filled by the Bonsai planters (machines in the modpack used to grow & chop trees) immediately fixed the issue. What is shown in the image below is the result of breaking and replacing the cable connecting those external storage interfaces which, at the time, were the only external storage interfaces in the network. The On/Off section of the image was when we connected/disconnected a single external storage interface.
How can we reproduce this bug or crash?
On an existing network with multiple storage drives both full & in-use (importers and exporters in operation), connect an external storage interface to a full chest that is being constantly attempted to be filled by some kind of item spawner (we used Bonsai planters so the chest was full of logs/sapplings).
