Syncing doesn't work

Steps to reproduce

1. Watch anime episode on first synced device
2. Go to second device and let it sync library

Expected behavior

Marks episode watched on first device as watched

Actual behavior

Doesn't mark episode as watched

Both devices need to sync first before you can access the changes.

Watch on first device
Sync 1st device
Sync 2nd device
Should be marked as seen on 2nd device

Do check your sync triggers and that both devices are updates to the latest version.

Also, just as a reminder, marking as seen does not trigger a sync. It needs to be watched from within the player.

Are you using Google drive syncing or syncyomi syncing?

If its Google drive, try clearing Google drive data, logout on both devices, relogin on both devices and then resync

i was using Google Drive and i just cleared and logged out on both devices.
after logging in on both devices and syncing, it did not update my library.

Cause it is working on my testing so i am unable to tell why it's not working for you

If you are fine with doing this,
Could you join the discord and dm me your backup file? (remove the passwords option) as well sending me the name of the entry you are trying to sync?

I'll test it on my system and try to figure out what's going on

Same here, it's not updating for me, when I mark and episode as watching. I have to manually update the episode number myself. Any solutions?
