Remove NPY deprecated warnings #12

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. building project dumps a lot of deprecated warnings due to NPY api version

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

added some workarounds to remove the messages in my cloned version:
