SVG support?

As far as I know most platforms which support SVG support Canvas too. SVG is just another layer of complexity to what is looking like an awesome tool. In my opinion it's better to focus dev on just Canvas.

I'm not 100% sure but I think allows easier event listening for shapes (like detecting if you're rollovering an object). Also lets you render without antialias which can boost performance (and doesn't have non-antialias option). It definitely have some benefits.

SVG is great for interactivity - you can observe all standard DOM element events on individual items.
